Antonis was born in Perama, in the industrial area of the port of Piraeus (Athens). He contracted the virus of music around the age of five when he was given his first keyboard as a gift and soon was able to play along the House of the Rising Sun’s arpeggio while listening to the song. He was introduced to classical music and classical education in music through his enrolment at the Piraeus City Council Conservatoire. Yet despite such institutional early education in music, Antonis mostly grew a self taught musician, expanding his interest through all musical branches, from classic to progressive rock, folk, symphonic rock and metal and other tendencies. Since his adolescence he has been an active semi-professional musician in the Athenian music scene, engaging with virtually every tendency that swept the scene in the past thirty years, though still maintaining a predilection for such genres as classical music, folk rock and pop, hard rock, progressive rock, symphonic rock and symphonic metal
