Born in Greece in 1985. He is an artist and musician who lives and works in London. After BA and MA studies in audiovisual arts (Greece) and digital arts (UK) he is a PhD candidate in Arts & Computational Technology of Goldsmiths University of London, conducting practice-based research on the exploration of emotional geographies of the city through artistic walking and embodied media practices. Bill is working on different media forms mostly based on audiovisual installations, walking as art, video/digital art, soundscapes and music. His works are inspired by the emotional and sensorial experience of the city and the poetics of inbetweeness with references on flaneur, psychogeography and romanticism. His works has been exhibited in various international festivals in Europe, US and Australia, in group exhibitions of cultural organizations and galleries (
Visual Dialogues 2013 - Onassis Cultral Centre, ROOMS 2013, WPA Experimental Media) as well as in the Royal Academy of Arts 2010 Summer Exhibition. Goethe Institut has also selected his work for the database of Greek artists in the media art project ‘Art Up’ (Greece, Turkey and Bulgaria). He has published and talked in international conferences and symposia including ISEA 19th (
Australia, Portugal, UK, Greece, Netherlands, Germany) as well as in State Museum of Contemporary Art of Thessaloniki, Greece. He is an active rock guitarist, has self-released 8 EP’s/albums and he is also the man behind the soundtrack music project;
Ludmilla MS. His music can be characterized as a mix of
guitar instrumental,
progressive rock,
post-metal,
art-rock, influenced by melodies and
ambient music. He started playing the guitar at the age of 7 and through 11 years of classic guitar education, he started transferring this knowledge onto learning and playing electric guitar. After participating in several bands, he started writing his solo material. During 2009-2010 - and after a first demo cd back on 2006 - he recorded his debut guitar instrumental album entitled
Feeding My Desire [Greece/US] and since then he has self-recorded and self-released another 4 guitar instrumental post-rock albums and EPs. His newest album is entitled
Concrete Angel and it was self-released on 19th September 2012. His debut album

Concrete Angel has been reviewed and presented from several webzines and web-radio shows (Rickter Scale Show - Delicious Agony Progressive Rock Radio [USA] top 100 releases for 2012 among well known bands such as Marillion, Adrenaline Mob, The Cult, Mike Keneally and O.S.I.) internationally and he has been included in further web radio lists (Greece, Australia) and emerging guitarists lists.
