About the festival
Electrocity is one of the world's most unique electronic Dance music festivals which takes place each year at old Cysterian Monastery in Lubiąż / Poland. The very first edition of Electrocity has been organized in 2006 and the next ones established it as one of the most recognized festivals in Europe by all the party people who loves electronic music and all the world class artists.
So far they have invited more than 200 world famous Djs / producers / vocalists / live performers. Armand van Helden, ATB, Axwell, Booka Shade, Chicane, Christopher Lawrence, Dirty South, Dubfire, Erick Morillo, Felix da Housecat, Gareth Emery, Infected Mushroom, Kevin Saunderson, Laidback Luke, Luciano, Marco V, Mauro Picotto, Roger Sanchez, Sander van Doorn, Sebastien Leger, Serge Devant, Showtek, Timo Maas, Todd Terry, Umek, Zany – this is just a really short brief of the full list of all the artists who performed at the Electrocity!
So far they've gathered over 120.000 people from all Europe and one of the Electrocity editions has βeen Recorded by the biggest internet relevision - DanceTrippin TV!
Electrocity Festival is the blend of past and presence. The combination of tradition and modern Technologies. Everything perfectly fits the unique venue – the world's second biggest monastery - Lubiąż.
Uniqueness and amazing history of the venue established the Electrocity Festival as one of the most spectacular events in the world! Today they already know that they are able to gather more than 20.000 partying people. Furthermore, the time and amount of work needed to prepare everything determine the Electrocity as one of the most busiest event organized so far in Poland.
3 STAGES
ELECTROCITY
The stage is located on a big yard. It can gather up to 8000 people. Lights truly imitate a real Electic City and everything is located against monastery's buildings exposed by an architectural lights, lasers and pyrotechnical effects. Genres: House and progressive alikes.
FLY WITH ME
The stage is located inside a church which determines probably one of the most unique places for a EDM performance. This is the place when dreams of some artists come true – DJ equipment located on an altar! Wall paintings, window bars and the acoustics make their job perfectly to make this location really outstanding. Genres: Techno and minimal alikes.
RUN TO THE SUN
The stage is located near the main entrance. Home of big room genres – starting from progressive, to trance and progressive house. The rule is just one – It has to be the big room sound. Genres: Trance, progressive house alikes.
