Live At The Fillmore East, the first release of the
Neil Young Archives Performance Series, is now in stores! The CD captures the Neil & Crazy Horse's legendary concerts on March 6th and 7th, 1970 at New York's Fillmore East. The nights featured Young with the original lineup of Crazy Horse: Danny Whitten (guitar, vocals), Ralph Molina (drums, vocals), Billy Talbot (bass) and Jack Nitzsche (electric piano), performing at the very peak of their powers. Those two nights are among the only officially recorded shows of the band with these members!
Along with the single-disc Live At The Fillmore East album, a special CD & DVD combo-pak is now out as well. The DVD includes a Hi-Res Stereo version of the album, along with rare photos from the concert, Neil's handwritten song lyrics, archival press articles and other rare memorabilia and documents relating to the concerts and this period of his career.
